This is a chinese fantasy wuxia drama, one of my favorites dramas right now, because it had all the right element to be loved by everyone, it has a beautiful and heartbreaking romance, an excellent actors, incredible performance, and the most important for me the chemistry btw the lovelines Yang Mi and Mark Chao is jus amazing, the CGI, clothes, scenography that actually made you feel like all those worlds of Gods, dragons and fox exist. And don´t made me start with the OST for the drama, it was extraordinary, and one of my repeat songs on my playlist, even now after 3 months when I listen to it made me feel the same things that the drama made feel at that time, I still cry sometimes jeje T.T
Ok so let´s start with the plot shall we:
¨ After a devasting war, the inmortal tribe paid a heavy price to seal the ghost lord Qing Cang. 70 000 years later, in an attempt to re-seal the ghost lord who was about to break free, Bai Qian´s (Yang Mi) memories and goddess identity were sealed by the ghost lord, and she was sent to the mortal realm to undergo a trial in order to become a high goddess. In the mortal world, she meets Ye Hua (Mark Chao) and the two fell in love. In order to prevent the same tragedy (that happened to Sang Ji and Shao Xin) from befalling, Ye Hua attempts to fake his death while hiding Su Su from the Nine Heavens, since she was expecting his first child. Su Jin who is jealous of Ye Hua´s love for Su Su, intentionally creates a series of misunderstandings between them, wich leads Ye Hua being forced to take SuSu´s eyes and give them to Su Jin. After giving bear to Ah Ling, YeHua´s first born, thinking that YeHua has betrayed her, the devasted SuSu/BaiQian Jumps off from the Zhu Xian Terrace.
At her request to Zhe Yen, all her memories of the things that happen after her powers were sealed are erased and she forgets YeHua, and becomes a high goddess praised by everyone, since she´s the only female high goddess at the time.
Three hundred years later, the two meet again as deities. Another lifetime another world, YeHua recognizes Bai Qian as the woman he loves but the latter remains indifferent. Ye Hua begins to pursue Bai Qian for a second time to regain her affections, and eventually suceeds when his love is requited. From the beginning to the end, time continues to flow and the lines of their fates continue to cross: an entanglement of three lives and three worlds and a road of peach blossoms.¨
